Something I have learned about niche marketing is that you need
to look around and find a product that will have a passionate and
large enough audience.
So - choosing a niche targeted at people who are passionate about
finding the face of Jesus in pieces of starbucks cookies - are going
to be passionate about their topic - but not really enough to
build a market out of.
Golf on the other hand - although you have some competition - you can
find a specific part of golf and build a site around it.
With topics like golf, you will find people who are so enthused by
it - that they will pay anything to take a few strokes off their
average... so - find a market where people are really keen - and
build a site out of it!
