There are many different golf accessories that can make the sport more enjoyable for you. These range from cases to protect your clubs, to small handheld score calculating computers. If you have a product in mind, you can probably find it at your local golf club store. However, sometime local golf stores won’t have as big of an inventory as you would like to browse, or they simply don’t carry the item at all. If this is the case, then you will have to look elsewhere for your desired golfing accessory. There are several things you can do to track down what you want.
First of all, you should monitor classified ads in as many resources as you can. The internet offers many different places for people to post their ads, on sites like CraigsList.com. Keep an eye out on these sites for anyone with the product that you want, so that you can immediately call them up and get the first dibs. Local newspapers are good as well, and also offer yard sale advertisements that might lead you to finding what you need. If you head to the right parts of town for yard sales, you will find quite a few people who are looking to unload their old golf equipment. As long as what you want isn’t too modern, you might be able to find it.
You can also look on sites that are meant to sell the items online. EBay is the one that comes to mind first for most people, and this is a very good place to look. EBay is one of the biggest repositories of all things old and no longer widely available. However, there are also quite a few online golf accessory stores that may offer what you need. The bigger stores are generally more reliable and more trustworthy than the average eBay seller, and they also sell new items. As long as you are sure that you are getting a quality item and not some cheap version that will break right away, these sites are very good to check out. Your favorite search engine will quickly lead you to an abundance of them.
Your fellow golfers are another great resource when it comes to getting useful golf accessories. Golfers tend to go through more accessories than players of any other sport, so you can usually count on some of your golfing buddies to have some old items that they wouldn’t mind parting with. You can offer a percentage of the retail value, or you can simply ask for it for free. Usually golfers will understand the compulsion to accessorize, and will not mind hooking up someone who is an ally. Take advantage of this camaraderie if you can, and avoid making unnecessary trips to the golf store to buy overpriced accessories.
If you try all of these different resources, you are almost guaranteed to find what you need. Just remember to be thrifty when it comes to golf equipment. Even if you feel like you can afford it, you still don’t want to get too free with your wallet and start tossing checks everywhere for all kinds of equipment. This is a good way to waste huge amounts of money without having much to show for it in the end except for a bunch of accessories that you might not use very much.

Your swing will change, your accuracy and distance will improve with practice, and you’ll become deadly with a putter, but you will always do these things while standing on your feet.
Your feet need to be comfortable! Have you ever developed a blister while walking or running? It’s all you can think about and it ruins the experience. Don’t let uncomfortable shoes ruin your golf game.
This is one area where you shouldn’t let your frugality make the decision for you. You will be wearing these shoes many times and they should be considered an investment.
Comfort should be your biggest concern when buying shoes. Your foot should not move at all on your heel when you walk, yet your toes shouldn’t feel cramped. Have you shoes professional fit to your feet and walk around in them before you buy them.
Proper golf shoes should be waterproof so that your feet remain dry in damp conditions. Good socks are important too; they will wick perspiration away from you feet, keeping your feet dry and comfortable.
All golf courses prohibit metal spiked shoes in the effort to protect their delicate greens. Purchase shoes that allow you to change the rubber spikes easily, and while you’re there, purchase some extras. You never know when you might lose one. Replace the spikes when they become worn.
With all the things you have to worry about while playing golf, your feet shouldn’t be one of them. When it comes to golf footwear, quality counts.

Something I have learned about niche marketing is that you need
to look around and find a product that will have a passionate and
large enough audience.
So - choosing a niche targeted at people who are passionate about
finding the face of Jesus in pieces of starbucks cookies - are going
to be passionate about their topic - but not really enough to
build a market out of.
Golf on the other hand - although you have some competition - you can
find a specific part of golf and build a site around it.
With topics like golf, you will find people who are so enthused by
it - that they will pay anything to take a few strokes off their
average... so - find a market where people are really keen - and
build a site out of it!

Is there any such thing as golf on a budget? Yes, there is!
Golf Balls.
I talked with a local golf shop owner and we were talking about the new golf balls. Many representatives from the different companies send him golf balls for his own use, hoping that they will be recommended to customers. He went on to say that he has tried just about all of them and they pretty much play the same. After picking up the box of Titleist balls he said, “These golf balls are is probably the best.” The box he picked up cost $19.95 a dozen.
But he tried used gold balls as well. New balls are "used" on the first hit. Some almost new balls are lost and found later. Look for advertisements on our website. You can get some good deals in used golf balls.
Golf Clubs.
Many people like to have the latest hybrid ironwoods or any new technology coming onto the market. So second hand golf clubs are offered in manay places. Search the net, check the local papers. Sometimes it pays off to place an ad or asked for used golf clubs on a notice board.
Golf Courses.
Maybe try some of the public ones. Or avoid peak hours ot days. It is possible to save up to 50% on green fees.
